Support the Sales Planning & Analysis function by providing data-driven insights on the sales performance of the product portfolio at retail. This role must understand operating metrics and their interdependencies, anticipating how to interpret trends and possible outcomes related to historical and expected performance. Individual in this role must be able to support the sales and marketing teams by providing data and analysis to support both new product innovation and the optimization of our existing space at retail. Requires confidence in decision making as well as willingness to accept accountability. Success in this role is dependent upon ones ability to synthesize sales data to extract key insights that lead to better decision making.
Responsibilities include:
Maximize Revenue, while understanding key sales performance metrics and generating the insights based on POS data - that focus our sales and marketing efforts
Optimize Working Capital, managing inventory investment leads to efficient turn performance and low E&O
Drive Service Excellence, providing sales insights to support the forecasting process ensuring appropriate SKU forward coverage and influencing operating team execution
Lift key findings from technical analytics, connecting functional area performance and creating possible scenarios for the future; owns tracking and measuring of key business indicators
Seek out and bring external best practices into the functional area
Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to support both new product innovation efforts and the constant optimization of our existing product portfolio and related categories

Requirements:
MBA preferred, with concentration in Marketing or Finance
6-8+ years of Retail/Consumer products industry experience
Requires experience working with retail POS data in a CPG environment
Background must include proven performance and advancement in analytical and planning Must possess a strong sense of responsibility, proven ability to achieve results and adhere to firm deadlines, analytical and organization skills, strong business judgment, accuracy, excellent written and oral communication skills are required
Individual must also exhibit effective presentation skills and be comfortable sharing information with all levels including senior most management
Must demonstrate proven ability to work cross functionally
