Calling on Wal-mart and Sam's Club for all brands. This position works for the National Sales Manager in the development, implementation, and management of the Wal-Mart and Sams business plans. Primary responsibilities include:
Represent Bush Brothers to the customer presenting fact based data and business growth ideas in an ethical and professional manner
Collaborate with supply chain functions to insure customer scorecard metrics are met and provide direction against merchandising activity
Provide direction to the broker/field sales force toward the measurement and achievement of established goals and assigned projects
Business Planning & Analysis in the form of forecasts, trade management, and corporate initiatives constantly examining growth opportunities (sales planning and presentations, co-marketing, product assortment, etc.)
Business Development Duties
Maintain regular buyer contact, proactively managing opportunities and leveraging BBCs assets against team goals
Provide for continued bi-directional flow of information from the customer to BBC and BBC to the customer.
Improve customer penetration through contact development across the organization (supply chain, marketing, merchandising, operations, etc.)
Generate weekly buyer reports including budget and promotional analysis
Support supply chain customers through analytics assistance and forecasting (e.g. TAB promotional volume assessment and seasonal builds)
Assist in the development, execution and tracking of the trade budget and business plan including assortment, pricing, and merchandising recommendations
Using consumer insights and customer specific data, discover business growth opportunities (e.g. cluster and SOTC analysis) and work with the NSM towards building a broader business base
Broker Management/People Management
Integrate the broker field assets into the execution of corporate/customer plans
Measure and track broker performance on key metrics (OOS correction, display support, store notes)
Work with Broker Administrator on ATB and deductions
Present appropriate business information to the field team through bi-annual meetings and work with Business Manager in completing quarterly broker business reviews
Conduct field visits to insure appropriate focus is placed against BBC business
Communicate business updates to the brand teams and educate appropriate personnel on customers immediate needs
Coordinate and manage assigned projects to enable business growth across accounts

Experience
Required:
6-12 years experience calling on a national customer. Experience needs to have sales and category in background. Calling on major customer for a minimum of 2 years. Additional experience of category management needed
5 years experience in CPG in a relevant area such as Sales, Category Management, and/or Trade Marketing.
Prefer 3 years of headquarter's sales or category advising experience in CPG (preferably Wal-Mart or Sam's).
Strong communicator with ability to excel under pressure, high level of personal commitment to deliver results and meet deadlines, can do attitude
Succeeds as both a leader and a team player, utilizing collaborative practices to achieve assigned goals.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the grocery industry and related administrative, Logistics, and Supply Chain functions.
Ability to manage high complexity, working cross functionally towards achieving corporate goals and strategies.
Highly analytical, skilled in presenting and interpreting POS and syndicated data.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills required with strong emphasis on Excel and Powerpoint.
