| Position Responsibilities: |
Responsible for the appropriate application of analytical tools and techniques to business issues across all Company's divisions. Incumbent will guide capabilities/implementations for core marketing analytics accountabilities with superior understanding of the competitive frame for marketing/sales opportunities, insightful diagnosis of business trends,improved return on pricing and A&P spending investments, accuracy of marketplace predictions and volume/share/OCI forecasting, develop and recommend cross-divisional opportunities with trademark and/or consumer/customer focused strategies,Improve planning, objective setting, and evaluation processes across related functional areas for increased effectiveness and efficiency of spending strategies & tactics. Identify, validate, and lead company adoption of generalizable principles and insights for maximum impact of spending and consumer directed opportunities, leverage research and consulting resources, both internal and external, for increased value and applications of information investment. Participate in Company's Marketing Analytics Leadership Team to identify, develop, and gain adoption of best practices; support site/company wide initiatives | ||

| Experience Required: | Master's Degree (Business Administration, Statistics, Economics) preferred, with a concentration in marketing/quantitative analysis.Strong IRI/Nielsen experience. Ph.D. is a plus.At least 10 years experience in forecasting/business planning in increasingly responsible positions. Proven managerial and influencing skills. Consumer packaged goods experience with manufacturer, research supplier, agency/retailer required. Experienced and effective in working with senior management.Expert knowledge of marketing, sales, finance, investor relations and operations processes, quantitative analysis of sales and marketing information, and use of analytic insights in development of business strategies and tactics. Requires grasp of technology and systems to guide application developments. Broad understanding and familiarity of market research techniques and ability to integrate relevant learning's. Must have strong leadership skills and a proven ability to work closely and effectively with all corporate functions and senior management. | ||

| Other Remarks: | This position's primary purpose is to maximize business performance by appropriate application of analytical tools, marketplace knowledge and expertise to planning and forecasting issues across all Company's Site/Divisions -This is probably someoen that is now VP at Nielsen or IRI .. Drives innovation and guides development and application of best practices across Site/Corporate Marketing Analytics and CIS. Responsible for stewardship of Site/Corporate Portfolio and scale by maximizing return on measurement/evaluation value chain across functions. Leads/supports growth strategies via improved knowledge base of marketing analytics principles and application to company strategies/tactics. Implements work process streamlining that focuses resources on driving growth. Builds organizational excellence in Marketing Analytics professionals across the site. | ||
