Responsibilities: |

The Trade Marketing Manager's primary role is to work with field sales and HQ marketing brand teams to develop the corporate business plan and strategy to achieve company growth targets.The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible and accountable for leading the development of all selling materials, plans and programs to enable the sales team to execute company brand strategies and tactics with the retail customers. Additionally, the TMM represents sales in all cross-functional meetings & projects relative to their assigned brands. They will additionally be assigned sales-specific, transversal projects on a permanent basis and on an ad-hoc basis where cross-functional involvement is required (example: sustainability projects, customer specific projects, brand development Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Create effective sales strategies and tactics to enable field sales team to execute company/brand strategies.
- Provide insight / direction to brand teams and co-develop business building strategies that accelerate growth for our brands.
- Build strong knowledge base of top retail customers' philosophies, strategies and tactics.
- Lead creation and development of sales merchandising tools for assigned brands,
- Working with Strategic Sales Planning & Reporting Director, ensure assigned brands KPIs are tracked, ranked and published on a regular basis
- Project Management.
- Develop key internal partnerships with brand teams, customer teams and Sales Leadership Team (SLT)
- Customer focus should be included in the planning strategy and all related activities

| Experience
Required: |
|
- Bachelors Degree (minimum), MBA (desirable)
- 7-10 years progressive Sales and/or Marketing experience in CPG industry (HQ experience 1-2 years preferred)
- 2-5 years of successful key customer management experience in US retail environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently with little supervision
