Calling on Wal-mart and Sam's Club for all brands. This position is focused on the strategic development, implementation, and management of the Wal-Mart and Sams business plans. Primary responsibilities include:
It is an essential requirement of the job that the employee have the ability to function in a feedback-rich, team-based environment. Employees must possess good interpersonal skills and be compatible with co-workers. Customer Development and Management Lead multi-functional team toward achievement of strategic customer goals/targets. Utilization of all internal and external resources to develop and execute annual business plans resulting in volume and profitability growth. Execute national and account specific programs. Business analysis and assessment frequent (daily, weekly, quarterly, annual) review of business trends to determine risk and opportunities. Utilization of internal and external data sources and tools to access business status. Communicate findings with customer and HQ. Network with vendors to determine industry best practices and customer support models. Administrative: management of MDF, deductions, customer programs. Communication of policies, procedures, price increases to customers and brokers. Communications with corporate, Broker Team, and customer contacts. Management of Administrative support. Retail Management Develop retail strategy and provide direction for broker support team. Conduct frequent retail store visits in all Wal-Mart and Club Channel markets. Participate in quarterly Wal-Mart retail meetings to provide training and retail objectives. Strategic Channel planning: annual planning by channel incorporating cross-functional objectives (supply chain, logistical, AR, etc). Develop and monitor annual scorecard. Provide HQ customer specific strategic initiatives and implementation timing. |
