Title:    Director Brand Marketing

Position  
Responsibilities: 
 
  • Lead the overall strategic marketing process: Analyze market position, competitive threats and market trends; respond accordingly to achieve North American sales and profit objectives. Responsible for approximately $300M in annual revenue.
  • Oversee annual budget planning process to ensure adequate funding for all programs. Ensure year budget targets are met, with appropriate ROI achievements. Develop strategies for approximately $60M spending.
  • Lead development of consumer marketing strategy to build awareness and brand preference.
  • Lead development of professional marketing strategy to build customer recommendation and brand preference.
  • Ensure full utilization of business teams and Sales Management resources to keep in touch with Field Sales issues regarding product portfolio.
  • Manage pricing and consumer/trade promotions.
  • Champion brands in all areas.
  • Lead, develop and manage direct reports (Brand Managers, Associate Brand Managers, Administrative Assistant).
  • Integration and alignment of Global strategies with North American business needs.
  • Coordinate with other Marketing directors and key sales personnel to ensure consistency of plans and execution.
  • Lead key marketing projects outside specific realm of responsibility.

Experience  Required:   
  • 12 yrs related experience with 8+ yrs in marketing, at least 2-4 years CPG (Consumer Product Goods) marketing experience

Preferred Level:

  • 10+ years in marketing with additional 2-4 years CPG (Consumer Product Goods) marketing experience.
  • Proven leadership, strong marketing, strategic analytical ability, excellent coach. Strong written and oral presentation skills.
  • Marketing thought leader and innovator of creative marketing ideas.
